Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is a very popular singer.  She won many awards at the 2011 CMA awards such as: Entertainer of the year, Female vocalist of the year, and a very popular song called Mean won Song of the year.  At  the  AMA awards she won Artist of the year and favorite female artist of the year.  In both the CMA and AMA awards she won Album of the year for Speak Now.  At the 2011 People Choice Awards, Taylor Swift won Favorite Country Artist of the year.  Taylor Swift's song: Sparks Fly ranked #3 for CMT Top 20 Countdown.  She first started singing when she was 10.  She released her first hit song called Tim McGraw in 2006 when she was 16 years old.

Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean is the topic of the day.  In the CMA awards he won Entertainer of the year, Male vocalist of the year, Album of the year for his song "My kind of party".  He performed a song with Kelly Clarkson called "Don't You want to Stay" and they won Single of the year and Musical event of the year for this song.  He has a couple of tours planned for 2011.  Jason Aldean's song "Tattoos on this Town" landed at number 2 this week on CMT Top 20 Countdown.  His most popular songs are "The Truth", "Crazy Town", "Amarillo Sky", and "She's Country"

Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum is the topic of the day.  They won Vocal Group of the year in the 2011 Country Music Awards (CMA) and they also won Favorite Band, duo or Group in the American Music Awards for 2011.  Along with Lady A's many songs a very popular song is- "We Owned the Night."  Some of their other songs are, (Their first song), "Love don't Live here any more", "Looking for a good time", "I Run to you", "Need You Now", "American Honey", and "Our kind of love".  They first started singing in 2006 and they are going on a tour in 2012 called "Own the Night".
