Thompson Square

Today we are going to talk about Thompson Square.  Thompson Square was nominated for New artist of the year, Vocal duo of then year.  The singers of Thompson Square are married.  Some of their songs are "Ive got you", "Are you gonna kiss me or not", "All the way", and "One of those days".  They were number ten on the Top 20 Country Music Countdown for a couple of weeks also.

Edens Edge

Edens Edge is a new group of Country singers.  The went on a tour with Brad Paisley, Reba, and they are now on a tour with Lady Antebellum. Some of there songs are "Amen", "Swingin door", "Christ Alone", "Slow motion", "Feels so real".

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney won many awards at the 2011 Country Music Association.  He was nominated for Male Vocalists of the year, Musical Event of the year for his song called: "You and Tquilla" that he sang with Grace Potter, and he and Grace Potter won Music Video of the year for "You and Tequilla".  Some of the songs he sings are "The Boys that Fall",  "Reality", "You and Tiquilla".

Sara Evans

Sara Evans was nominated for Female vocalist of the year and Single of the year for her song: "A Little bit harder" in the 2011 Country Music Association Awards.  Some of her songs are "A little bit stronger", "No place like far", "Suds in the Bucket" and "Cheatin".

Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley was nominated, in the 2011 Country Music Awards, for Entertainer of the year, Male vocalist of the year, Album of the year for his song called: "This is Country Music", Brad Paisley also won Musical event of the year and Music video of the year for his song called: "Old Alabama." Some of his songs are: "Letter To Me", "Me Neither", "Waitin' On A Woman", and "Little Moments".

Zac Brown Band

Today we are going to talk about the Zac Brown Band.  He was nominated for Vocal group of the year, nominated for Album of the year for his album called: "You get what you get", nominated for single of the year for his song "Colder Weather", nominated for song of the year that he sang with Wyatt Durrette, Levi Lowrey, and Coy Bowles for the song: "Colder Weather", and he was nominated musical event of the year for one of his songs he sang with Alan Jackson called: "As Shes Walking Away". His songs are very good.

Sugarland

Sugarland is the topic of the day.  At the Country Music Association awards she won: Vocal Duo of the year.  Some of their songs are: "It Happens", "Love on the Inside", "Stuck Like Glue".  They went on a tour at the Indiana States fair and there was terrible winds that day and when they were about to start the concert the stage got blown down and some people lost there lives that day.  When they continued their concert somewhere else they had a moment of silence for the people who lost there lives when the stage fell down.

Awsome and Funny blog

I know of a funny blog, it is called bad bucks.  They not only have monsterous pictures of Bucks but it also has funny pictures and videos of animals doing weird things.  They tell about hunting experiences they have had. Check there blog out it is very funny.

Eric Church

Eric Church was nominated For New artist of the Year at the 2011 Country Music Association awards. Some of his songs are "Homeboy", "Drink in my Hand", "How bout you", "Love your Love The Most", "Smoke a Little Smoke."  He got a guitar when He was a teenager and taught himself to play it.  This week on Country Music Television, his song "Drink in My Hand" landed #12.

Carrie Underwood

Some of Carrie Underwood's songs are: "All American Girl", "Temporary Home", "Before He Cheats", "Last Name", "So Small".  Carrie Underwood sang a song with Brad Paisley called: "Remind Me."  She also performed in the movie called: "Soul Suffer".  So she had a pretty exciting year.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban is today's topic.  He won a few awards at the Country Music Awards (CMA) such as: Entertainer of the year and Male vocalist of the year.  A list of his songs are: "I want to be your everything", "I want to love somebody like you", "Making Memories of us", "Once in a Lifetime", "Only You can Love me this way"

Miranda Lambert

As you may know Miranda Lambert married Blake Shelton this pat summer.  She came out with a new song in 2011 called "Baggage Claim."  She won awards at the 2011 Country Music Television Awards such as: Female vocalist of the year, and Female video of the year.  Miranda Lambert has won Female Vocalist of the year 5 times in the last6 years and Female video of the year 5 time in the last 6 years also.  Some of her songs are "White Liar", "The House that Built Me", "Baggage Claim", and "Only Prettier."

Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan's songs are (his new song) "I don't Want This Night To End",  "All My Friends Say", "Country girl (shake it for me)", and "Rain is a good thing".  He has many more songs then those. He won New artist of the year award and the Country music Awards.  Luke Bryan's song "I Don't Want This night To End" is the fourth song on today's (January 3, 2012) top country countdown and it landed number one on the top 20 countdown for the week.
